We all use the web in different ways. Mozilla is dedicated to helping you build a web that’s relevant to your friends, family, business or community.
Mozilla is a non-profit organization and these open-source tools are created by a global community. They will always be 100% free — now and forever!

Since its inauguration in 2012, Maker Party has become Mozilla's largest celebration of making and learning on the web. From getting the hang of HTML to building robots to learning about remixing using paper and scissors, people of all ages and from all backgrounds have come together to joyfully explore the culture, mechanics and citizenship of the web.
What does a Maker Party look like?
Maker Parties are held in schools, cafes, community spaces, or even around kitchen tables. They range from the very large (hundreds of participants) to the very small (two people). They are great for kids and adults, and for beginners or experienced pros. Check out these examples of fantastic Maker Parties.
Net Neutrality Maker Party
Participants learned about the importance of Net Neutrality, and considered how to take action. They used Thimble to create Net Neutrality-themed memes.
Make and Remake Hackathon
At the Make and Remake Hackathon Day attendees spent the first half of the day using Webmaker tools to make something awesome. In the second half of the Hackathon individuals then turned their completed makes over to a friend so they could then remake their make to create something new.
Lo-Fi Maker Party
At this Lo-Fi Maker Party, participants used paper, Post-it's and tennis balls to learn basic HTML and website structure, simple programming commands and app design
